EN: Løkka-lykke gatekunstfest is an initiative from Løkka Gårdeierforening and Street Art Oslo, which springs from an idea to celebrate Grünerløkka's unique identity.
Each summer, artists from across the spectrum of street art are invited to produce site-specific artworks ranging from murals to small-scale interventions, with dissemination activities for the public such as talks, workshops and guided tours.
Our annual finissage is an opportunity to gather together the artists, crew, volunteers, neighbours and collaborators who make the festival possible, as well as to contextualize the work we produce on the streets within Street Art Oslo’s mellomrom (literally, ‘between space’).
This year's exhibition includes work by artists from Løkka-Lykke 2021 & 2022, in addition to contributions from our crew, many of whom are practicing artists. The exhibition also marks the release of the second annual Løkka-Lykke zine, featuring street photography by Løkka-Lykke co-producer Hanne Ugelstad and behind-the-scenes images from the festival’s main production week.
