NO: FANFARE! Fest for fellesskap, mot fascisme! lages for å skape en arena og samlingspunkt for motstanden mot framveksten av og økende angrep fra autoritære fascistiske krefter i USA og Europa. Men også for å feire det rike mangfoldet og fellesskapet vi har. Det å minne om hva det er vi kjemper for er vårt viktigste middel mot fascismen.
I samarbeid med Masahat, som er en forening med formål om å formidle kultur, kunst, historier og kunnskap fra Midtøsten og Nord Afrika, arrangerte Street Art Oslo en gratis poster-workshop under Fanfare. Dette er del av vårt arbeid med å formidle ulike former for "artivism", som betyr kunst + aktivisme. Her fikk både barn og voksne lære hvordan de kan lage fargerike og virkningsfulle plakater for å formidle sitt budskap ved hjelp av gjenvunne materialer, spraymaling og sjablonger.
Det deltok omlag 100 personer på denne workshopen, og plakatene fikk deltakerne ta med seg etterpå.

EN: FANFARE! Celebration of Community, Against Fascism! is being created to create an arena and rallying point for resistance to the rise and increasing attacks from authoritarian fascist forces in the United States and Europe. But also to celebrate the rich diversity and community we have. Remembering what it is we are fighting for is our most important tool against fascism.
In collaboration with Masahat, an association with the purpose of communicating culture, art, stories and knowledge from the Middle East and North Africa, Street Art Oslo organized a free poster workshop during the event Fanfare. This is part of our work to communicate different forms of "artivism", which means art + activism. Here, both children and adults learned how to create colorful posters to effectively convey their message using recycled materials, spray paint and stencils.
Around 100 people participated in this workshop, and the participants could take the posters with them afterwards.
