Street Art Oslo organizes workshops that deal with various methods and techniques within graffiti and street art, such as stickers, stencils, paste-ups, graffiti and ad-busting.
At the same time, we take a closer look at the modern graffiti and street art movements, and the local and political conditions that have influenced the field. We explore themes such as freedom of expression/responsibility for expression in the public space, art outside of established institutions, and the formal and informal rules of graffiti and street art.
Workshops are coordinated by artist and producer Hanne Ugelstad, educational manager for Street Art Oslo.
